Great place to come to see the local wildlife. Birds nesting all over the place! Easy country walking across fields but be careful as there are a few cows in the fields.

No good if you have a dog as the signs do not allow even if on a lead, unless you're just walking down to the river.

No toilets
Small parking area that can get busy.
No parking charges
Bring some bird seed with you to fill up the feeders.
No bins so take your rubbish home.

There is no public access to the farm building, but you may see a warden in your travels.

A beautiful place to escape to nature where you can walk for miles along the River Crouch capturing sights of migrating Brent Geese and other birds.

Took a picnic. Enjoyed the walks through fields. Looking out at one of the bird hides. Finishing off along the sea wall.
We sat eating our picnic over looking the water. We finished the day by having a drink and something to eat at the Ferry Boat pub.

A stunning landscape, the variety of bird life here breeding and feeding is staggering, a great trail to walk... full cycle through this 600 acre farm from the car park and back, three good hides to view from along the way and a nice stretch along the River Crouch... It's a brilliant but lengthy walk around mind. A beautiful place rich with life and history.
A small but decent car park, no lavatory or amenities.

The visitors center is nice with great food . Playground for the kids and the staff are great. This is my local nature reserve so I'm there quite a lot your sometimes find me in the bird hide
