We were really worried about putting mum into care, but we needed the help - she was drifting further away from us all the time, feeling lost and alone in her worsening dementia. The first couple of weeks were terrible - she hated being there, couldn't believe we'd abandoned her like this... but then the wonderful staff began working their magic! Slowly we started hearing about the benefits of having everything done for you, how nice it was to have made some new friends, how good it was to have a laugh with everyone. Now we have our mum back! She's happy, settled, and it's all thanks to the amazing, caring staff who are more like a family. Highly recommended.
