I attended a work event in London at this building and at the EG office.
The reception team and security were welcoming and friendly throughout my three day visit, thanks Debbie and Malala.

We were hosted at various sessions and catered for within the facilities and the teams all made sure we felt welcomed and at home, with great hospitality.

As a colleague visiting, the welcome and experiences could not have been better and more comfortable. Thank you!

Fleeced out of £228 by Expedia. We booked and paid for a package holiday of flights, transfer and hotel. At the end of the booking it asked us if we wanted to book bags at £38 per bag each way. We booked 3 bags in both directions at an additional cost of £228. When we got the receipt from Expedia it was not itemised by cost, simply showing the single post baggage amount for the full package. However, it did confirm that we had all the elements including "baggage" but did not stipulate explicitly how many bags. When we went to check-in with the airline only one bag was on the booking details despite our having booked and paid the extra £228 for the 3. We phoned Expedia who told us to call the airline. We called the airline to be told that Expedia had only booked 1 bag. We called Expedia back again and spent 2 hours on the phone to be told that we had only paid for one bag at £76 and should book the extra bags direct with the airline. They could not explain why we paid an extra £228 and kept repeating a split of the total package price we had paid, saying that only £76 of the sum was for baggage. This was not true as the price increased by £228 when we added the baggage, but we had no screenshots of the price before and after to prove this (they said that they could not check this on their system). They refused to add the bags to our booking, referring us back to the airline and refused to provide a refund. Baggage is not protected by Atol so we will raise this with our credit card provider and will not book with Expedia in future. Avoid

Used these guys multiple times in the past for 8-10 world wide flights spanning 10 yrs. Booked and fully paid for a car rental through them recently, I cancelled 24 hrs before hand but expedia decided to keep my full payment. After 5/6 attempts at a refund which they couldn't justify and kept swapping contact reps, they decided to reimburse me €9!!! (I paid €120). How do you decide €9 is consolation. COMPLETE SCAM COMPANY. DO NOT USE. Should be brought to a European High Court by now.

Fake hotline where you can never talk to a real person and just get told by a computer that your journey number does not exist. Absolutely no way to contact a real person. When complaining they refuse to accept any complaint due to „data protection“. Has bern the best website on the market in the past and is just a bunch of idiots and a total scam by now.

Just had a desperately awful experience with Expedia which involved multiple cock ups, massive expense, which I hope to get some compensation for, but not confident. Problems with payment processing....no way for Expedia to enter CVC Auth Code on a Mastercard Debit Card, which I find incredible. A US local friend had to help out with an Amex Card Then screwed up e-ticketing so not allowed to board at Check In. Then a nightmare couple of hours trying to get any sense out of Experian Agents to resolve the problem. I finally gave and bought an another ticket direct from the carrier. Anyone reading this and thinking of using these clowns....DONT. Now at home trying to make contact with custumer service to start a complaint procedure and being pushed down the same rabbit holes as their pathetic Help/Support Virtual Agent channel. GO BUY YOUR TICKETS SOMEWHERE ELSE

Too many cockups with bookings and reservations. Yet to have a safe and sound experience. Not as reliable as it would like to think it is. Clearly trying to be a travel company that it's not. Try elsewhere.

Beware Greed. Booked this hotel as an emergency as another booking had fallen through.
We used Expedia. That's where it went wrong. The software can be confusing although we thought we'd booked the hotel for that night; it had actually immediately taken us to a different date two weeks later.
When we arrived at the hotel there was confusion, made worse by the fact that the hotel had not updated their contact details with Expeidia, so they refused to talk to one another. Eventually resolved, we got a room for that night. As it was an honest error we asked for the original booking to be transferred. The hotel and expedia refused to do so there and then. Apparently only the hotel owner could agree and they of course were not contactable. Chasing up a few days later you won't be surprised to hear, neither Expedia or the Hotel owner decided to refund the money after a genuine mistake. I Understand that a reduced price room that people don't turn up for should not be refunded, we did turn up and we did pay for a room, this was just simple GREED. For that reason this is a cautionary tale for others and a very poor score for two greedy entities.

An overall bad experience.
We booked in 2019 through Expedia a connecting transatlantic flight for 2020 which was cancelled due to Covid and we received a voucher. Two years later we decide to use our valid voucher and this is where the problem starts. It took endless emails and phone calls in various call centers, a long 6 months process to finally be able to rebook and get new tickets.

During this process, Expedia surprisingly could not find our voucher (during about 2 months), when they miraculously found our file, they refuse to rebook a connecting flight, we were only allowed to get the long whole flight. Then they charged us an additional 30% of the value of the voucher for using the same class as the original tickets, but the tickets were then forwarded in a lower class (another two months wait). When we complained, no one returned our calls nor our emails. It took another two months to be finally reimbursed the 30% over charge.

We came to the conclusion that Expedia is hoping that clients with vouchers lose patience and abandon the everlasting procedure to use their vouchers, and when clients with a lot of patience and determination pursue their request, Expedia then charges their clients additional fees…
Never again will we use Expedia.
