We stayed in room 9 with 2 generous bedrooms, very comfortable beds, good pillows and crisp cotton bedding, large bathroom, kitchenette with small eating area and lounge, a hob, oven or air fryer would be a welcome addition for a longer stay. Spotlessly clean and very quiet at night. Internet connection could be better, but good value with entrance to Raptor Foundation at anytime included.|Large free parking area with 6 disabled bays near entrance|The grounds were really well maintained with numerous shrubs, trees, flowers, hanging baskets and ponds.| All staff were very welcoming with good knowledge of the birds of prey and reptiles, we especially liked the giant tortoise

We loved our one night stay. There was plenty of space in the L shaped room with beds in one part and a kitchen/relaxation area equipped with microwave, toaster, fridge and kettle, and the bathroom beyond that. We took everything we needed for a meal in the evening and breakfast as well as tea, coffee,: milk etc and were glad we hadn’t forgotten anything as once the centres closed there is nowhere reachable on foot (the road outside was busy and traffic passing at some speed). The sofa wasn’t the most comfortable for two of us to use,and the telly on the old side, but the beds were good and we slept very well in the twin beds. The space outside the door was lovely and hearing some of the owls at night was amazing. What a treat to be able to stay right by a place we always enjoy so much.

Stay at this location. The cost of going into the bird display is included in the room price. The birds are the stars of the show. Great knowledge from the handlers about the birds, owls, hawks, and alike. Well, it's worth a visit.

Love the centre and booked accommodation when visiting family over Christmas, not one decoration in room but not much time spent there so not a problem. Clean and spacious (de-luxe No 8), warm and comfortable, would certainly stay again. |It is what it is, a lovely place, admission included, excellent staff, nothing too much trouble - but even when offering basic accommodation surely some rules should be followed:-|No privacy to bathroom/toilet, located off kitchen area with dimpled glass panels in bathroom door - opposite outer door!! Really Is this allowed? Very embarrassing when granddaughters came for night!|Dangerous step from kitchen to main room with no warning other than small sign halfway up door, surely the step should be paint/tape highlighted or something? We left shoes along it to remind us it was there after falling down it during first night going to bathroom! No drink was involved (ho! ho!) but being disabled it could have been worse!|Main bed excellent size but sooo hard. |Dripping kitchen tap, and the sounds from the pipes during the night was intrusive.|No dressing table by main bed/mirrored wardrobe doors for hair dryer/toiletries etc.|No chair/hanging rail/wardrobe/drawer/bedside cabinet in small bedroom consisting of twin beds - nowhere for clothes etc., shelves only on one wall by side of one bed.|Nowhere to hang/place clothes in bathroom|Nowhere to hang outer coats - wet or dry!|Exact amount of crockery etc, no spares

We stayed here for one night in early December.||||Very impressed with this accommodation, it was much better than expected and great value for money. We stayed in Room 6 which is one of the luxury rooms, tucked away from some of the other accommodation. Yes, some of the furnishings and décor could do with a bit of an update but it was clean and comfortable. ||||Check-in was friendly and the receptionist Carol was very helpful when we asked for help with something. ||||The room is spacious, with all you would expect in a hotel room plus the added bonus of armchairs, a microwave, and a toaster. Only basic cutlery and crockery provided so if you are bringing something from home to heat up then you will need to bring your own casserole dish.||||So nice to have a mirror actually close to the hairdryer and great to have sockets by the bed. ||||Large bathroom with a shower cubicle that has a curtain on one side instead of a glass door. Some weights at the bottom of the curtain might be a good idea as the curtain does tend to waft in and grab you a bit! || ||Entrance to the park is included with the accommodation and we were able to see the flying display which was interesting and informative.||||The only negative was the wi-fi in this particular room was pretty poor. Wi-fi might be better in other rooms though – our room was on the edge of the complex. ||||We would stay again and next time plan on staying in Room 8 which has a full kitchen and washing machine. ||||All in all, a great stay and we would definitely recommend.||||Hope this is helpful!

Spacious, clean comfortable room. Plenty of room for a 4 year old to play and not be on top of each other|We went around the foundation after checking out of our room and I was surprised by how many different species of owls there was

Rooms are clean and well equipped sitting area and table apartment like stay over easy access and close to the raptor park you can walk out of the front door of the apartment and walk across the square where you can be greeted by meerkat in a compound and can hear the owls at night. Parking excellent includes free access to the raptor park keepers and staff really helpful and knowledgeable.

We had 10 adults and 4 young children for a Saturday and Sunday. We were all really happy with the rooms, the service and the bird display, as well as being able to see the birds, reptiles and meercats in their enclosures, plus the playground. The rooms were spacious, very clean, quiet and very reasonably priced. The cafe for lunch on Saturday was also very good, and we were loaned a room for socialising, which really helped us have a brilliant weekend. We're booking for next year now! Wifi was a bit tricky in our room, probably with being in the country, but it wasn't a problem for one night and didn't make much difference to an enjoyable stay.
