Phoning Families Need Fathers (now called Both Parents Matter) was a significant and wise decision of mine. I find the organisers , most notably David , Bahi and Kostas to be non judgmental, knowledgeable and sensible with their advice.
I have spoken to many impressive, articulate and calm people. My heart goes out to those who are denied the privilege of seeing their own children grow up.
I have recently introduced a friend to the charity. I sincerely hope that person gains as much as I have from the meetings.
For me, the key message is to keep coming to the weekly meetings as much as possible even when things are going well.
Thank you.

Really disappointing. I would consider myself in a crisis with what I am going through at the moment. I was recommended this charity. I have send numerous emails looking for support and I've heard nothing back at all.

I wish I joined FNF before my separation as I felt alone and went into depression. I joined FNF soon after my separation. As heartbreaking as it was to hear what will happen, the delays in seeing my kids - they were right.

I spent £000's on family solicitors which in reality was pointless as FNF was all I needed in between the hearings. They have become a family to me now who support me and I support them.

Be sure to join them and get the advice and support. FNF Harrow thank you for everything

This organisation is like a boon to us fathers and also often to single mothers who come to them keeping the child best interests in mind and with a goal that both parents, even though separated, can co parent and not deprive the child of one of the parents love and affection.

They welcomed me with their open arms at all meeting I have attended and were ready to not only listen, but to support me in my dire circumstances when I approached them for help. I had a solicitor who was literally ripping me off with huge invoices with very little or no positive outcome.

After going to FNF meetings I gained confidence and sacked my solicitor and went in court hearings as Litigant in Person with the help of an Mckensie friend also from FNF who was immaculate and much better in helping me with my paperwork and how I should present my case in front of the judge.

I am glad to share here that I got what I want for my child (which was both parents to be equally involved) and all this is thanks to FNF. Not only do you get legal help but their support you to stay strong mentally and I am glad I found this support and have since been part of this community and been able to help other single parents going through the grind.

Compare the £39 annual membership fee to the £1000.....‘s that you pay to Solicitors and barristers. Pay them a visit at one of their meetings and you can judge for yourself.

During coronavirus times they even support you with weekly zoom calls where you can connect and get the same support.

I am highly obliged that such a charity exists for us fathers as mothers have plenty of organisations supporting them but there are rarely any who support men 🙏. Thank You FNF and David Dunne - Head of FNF - North Harrow - London

Rally bad experience at their North London Branch. Attend two times meeting held at local pub. The person who lead the event was only interested in drinks or donation. Selling books or promoting some law firms. I go there just to get some advise but find out that they have some regular attendee who bully you and even they called me virgin and laugh because I don t have any criminal record. Avoid them and get proper advised form solicitor , dont waste your time , if you really serious about your children. I am glad that I got whatever I want from Court. Any way I will go back to their North London branch and show them what I got from court that what thy think is impossible and see their faces, if regular are still around.
