I have had a lot of support from first choice homes. The call centre staff are always helpful and polite and get the jobs booked in for me. They always turn up for the job and if they can’t you get a call or a text. Be great when we get new doors and windows as they need replacing asap.

Few on the phone are ok most are absolutely shocking do not communicate with anyone else…. I will ring you back but, never do! Shocking to say the least…. Poor Service from most! Yet they charge me 200% council tax on empty property (whilst emptying and renovating after the death of my mum) Leaseholder, but still no better service. SHAME ON YOU….

two months ago, the safety gas engineers came to my house to check things, and during that time, they accidentally broke the TV in my bedroom. The next day, when I realise called them, fortunately I had pictures as proof showing that the TV was fine the day before and broken the day after their visit, they told me to first send the purchase receipt for the TV. I sent it, and they said they would call me in a few days. After a few days, they said the person handling this wasn't there; they had gone on a trip and would be back in a few days. A few days later, they called again and said the person I had contacted had gone on a trip, so they asked me to send both the pictures and the receipt again. I sent them again, and a week later, they told me to wait a few more days. After a week, they said the main manager is on a trip and will contact me again. After two months, they keep telling me the same thing. And when I called the first choice service, they said I had no evidence. Do I need to have a camera in my bedroom recording while they work in my house for them to accept my evidence?

Wrongly accused us of antisocial behaviour, gave us a written warning. It was only when the racial abuse and physical attack was captured on surveillance cameras installed that we got an injunction against a neighbour and fcho retracted the warning. They have not been supportive even though I am classed as a vulnerable tenant they have made us jump through hoops to get support and it still is not there.
We have experienced staff laughing at us on recorded calls, disability discrimination by rejecting out of hours emergency repairs. 8 years of damp and mold, rejection for reasonable ajustments. So now. We have c4 complaints being looked at by the housing ombudsman. Of all the housing associations in rhe northwest this is by far the worst i have ever had to deal with. The ombudsman has a backlog but is aware fcho are stalling customers until the ombudsman can look at their cases. The CEO will not engage with customers being failed by her colleagues.
Tenants are being failed in high numbers especially the disabled and vulnersble. Legal action in our case is now the only way forward after 8 years of struggling to get support and ajustmemts

If I could give a zero I would the tape you see is wat I have done to keep skirting board together after work men opened it up looking for fault never told me and pushed my bed bk against wall with in a day I had mice geting in and now my house is over run iv been reporting mice problem for 3 years and nothing iv asked to be moved as the are calling all over my kitchen were I keep my medisan as I'm a diabetic and have to stor my medical in kitchen I have to inject 4 to 5 time a day mice carry alsorts of disease with my immune system low I'm living in fear every day and they don't care a family few doors away has moved out because of mice problem and they are fixing an empty house before mine profit above health they don't care iv never been in rent areas iv spent money on trying to solve problem myself and having to replace a fridge freezer mice had chewed threw wire I was without heating hot water for 2 day due to them chewing threw wires in loft and still the don't treat you with any respect or deal with the problem with any urgency they just don't care I'm stuck in a house that could kill me it's about tome someone made them put renters before profit since we pay their wages.
