Relaxing place to stroll around at your own pace. It was also nice to see so many sheep roaming around freely. There is an abundance of activities for the kids to participate in, all aimed at building historical knowledge.

Admission prices were reasonable too, as was the cafe. The star attraction is the wooden causeway constructed in the Bronze Age. At a leisurely pace you’d comfortably get around everything in a couple of hours, quicker if you didn’t wish to read the information boards.

If you are local to the area this is definitely worth a visit, do check the opening times though as outside of school holidays it is not open all week.

We visited with Granddaughters, Daughter, had a great day here, plenty to do, spent a good 4/5 hours. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, you can make wicker butterflies, go pond dipping, dig for fossils and other things. A fantastic family day out.

Fantastic place to visit. For the entry price a bargain. Kids will love it especially the themed play areas and also the rubbings area. Found out a lot about the area. Very interesting and educational. Well laid out. All flat paths so easy to access if in wheelchair,using mobility scooter or with pushchair. Toilets half way round too including disabled toilet. Dug out boats exhibit disappointing as all submerged. Would not go if raining as no protection from elements as majority is outside.
Gift shop has no Flag Fen fridge magnets/Flag Fen badges or other items that a gift shop has that helps to publicise the attraction and a souvenir. Was nowhere to leave that comment so hopefully they read this review.

What a great little place to visit, nice cafe friendly staff, plenty of parking. We was here for about 3 hours , lots of lovely walks to investigate and lots of history to read about.

We visited on a spur of a moment as we had some time to wait in Peterborough, we weren't sure what to expect, but after reading some reviews, we gave it a try. I'm so glad we did, very reasonably priced, and you could spend a few hours easily just walking around at your own pace. They had activities on for the young ones which included pond dipping for insects and a storytelling rendition in one of the round houses. If you like archaeology I would highly recommend, the staff are very helpful knowledgeable and kind and we all had a relaxing day here.

Peaceful setting in nature. I enjoyed the time visiting the Bronze Age and Iron Age houses, museums with archaeological findings and the souvenirs at the centre. There is a little play area for children. A bit slippery to walk around at rainy season.
