Thoroughly enjoyed this experience and the volunteers hosting the binoculars and the information stand helped make it a good experience.

Luckily the ospreys had just arrived for the summer but I think it would be a nice experience even without the ospreys.

(Can be slippery in the wet on the boardwalk).

Lovely small reserve of rare marshland with nesting Osprey. Volunteers from the Cumbria Wildlife Trust were there for our visit when the fist Osprey had just arrived that week. They were very helpful, keen to share their knowledge and use their telescope.

You really don't have to go far too commune with nature -- just by the side of the A590, plenty of parking, amazing views and serenity. Nice volunteers too.

We had a brilliant morning at this Nature Reserve. We were very lucky to see 4 Osprey among other birds. The board walks make access really easy & the hides are well positioned the staff are all very friendly & welcoming but an extra special award need to go to Barbara who despite being stationed in the windiest & coldest hide was an absolute star. She was very knowledgeable & had lots pictures & diagrams ect to really make the lives of the Ospreys come to life. She was particularly good at answering mine & my brother inlaws sons questions (& they had alot) she was kind patient & engaged with them. We appreciated her letting us use the spotting scopes so thank you very much Barbara you made their day.
