Maybe I went at the wrong time, but between 6-8pm on a Saturday the only things happening were a pay to watch circus in the minster and a band in Zebbadies yard playing music not to my taste. no stalls and very few people. In previous years lots of street entertainment and so forth. A waste of my time.

This year the festival seemed to be centred on the paid events in the Queen's Gardens (now known as the festival gardens).
