This place is amazing!!
I had the best day!!
I am a Vegan, and believe all animals are equal...
So to be able to interact and walk among the animals was simply a privilege...
We never get the opportunity to know about the lives of Cows, Pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, because they are out of reach and slaughtered before their time...for food!
Here at this beautiful place, run by beautiful people, you can feed them, cuddle them and connect.....
It was worth every penny of the 5 hour round trip...

This is a marvellous place to visit on their special events days. As a patron member I do get to hear of what’s happening at friend and I was very lucky to attend the Midsummer celebration sleepover festival. For £30 this included camping for one night, lantern making, a Soundbath experience, yoga, a tour to visit to the animals and a lot of fun! The numbers were limited so as to provide a lovely, intimate vibe. We gathered around a large fire in the evening before bed. Food and drinks were at additional cost, but they were reasonable, especially considering that this was a charity fundraising event. They aim to put on more events during the good weather, and I look forward to going to some of these.
You will need to check opening times. as they are not necessarily open all the year round. Please note that they are an all vegan rescue and as such, do not allow any non-vegan food on site.

What a wonderful beautiful place. Visited the sanctuary today and had a small tour around the sanctuary by Mark who was very friendly and clearly cares a great deal for the animals on site.

I thoroughly enjoyed spending an hour or so just sitting with the animals in a truly care free safe place. Knowing they will live secure until their natural death is such a beautiful thing.

I respect and am so thankful to the people working here to give these animals the life all livestock animals should be granted. It was this wish for all animals that made me vegan 2 years ago.

If you are already vegan this is a wonderful place connect with the animals you are living your life to help. If you are not vegan then you should still visit, it may just give you a new perspective on life.

Wonderful place, so nice to spend some time with well loved animals and show the children animals up close and personal.
Mark was lovely and very knowledgeable. Brownies and ice cream were delicious. Definitely worth a family trip out!

Relaxed atmosphere and friendly people. Farmed animals left to see out their days in a safe and caring environment. There was a fu d raising festival on when we visited, so we also had great entertainment.

Appearances are deceiving. It may not look like much but it is such a wonderful afternoon out. We were able to pet the animals and enjoy some extremely yummy vegan cupcakes. The staff were friendly, just like the animals. We will definitely be returning.
It doesn't cost anything to enter but I would strongly suggest donating.

This place is a beautiful safe haven for animals that will not be exploited for their bodily secretions, flesh or any other reason! I went to volunteer with a group of activists, to give our time to this wonderful sanctuary! I recommend taking anyone along who still consumes animal products, to allow them to reconnect with these beautiful beings! Watch out for those fabulous open days! Peace and love 💚
