It's a great organisation through which I've learnt a lot about history of Sheffield. I would recommend to try their talks to anyone who are like me interested in this subject. The best bit is the events at Sheffield Manor Lodge in summer with people dressed up in costumes bringing history to life. The site is also having some initiative going about wild meadow flowers making the whole place very picturesque. I hope more and more people will discover this gem in a rather unlikely part of the city.

A brilliant local charity which celebrates Sheffield's great history and the City's important link to the life of Mary Queen of Scots. I am fascinated with the Tudor period and I feel privileged to have this on my doorstep.
