The whole team at Furzhatt is so caring and kind. Mum was quite unsettled when first moving in and difficult to deal with, and still has
' grumpy' days, when not quite understanding where she is. She is always treated with kindness, dignity, and respect. There is a really homely feel, the food is excellent and nothing is too much trouble. It is a big relief that Mum is being cared for so well. I would recommend Furzhatt.

Visited here today to see a friends relative. Very impressed, from the friendly receptionist, and all other staff I encountered to the rooms etc which were all spotlessly clean, the gardens were well cared for too. A very relaxing, welcoming visit. Even had a jar of doggy biscuits at reception 😊

A lovely care home situated in a convenient location, not far from local amenities. The staff are caring and approachable and residents enjoy a variety of activities throughout the week. There's a lovely atmosphere in the home and I would recommend it to family and friends

Absolutely lovely home from Alex and Gina on reception to all the staff and nurses..my husband had to go into the nursing home after a stay in hospital and he has been treated impeccably, it can be a frightening experience but the staff are amazing,the food is fantastic ( my husband has put on weight since being in the home ) and the staff genuinely care for the residents, there is always something going on in the home , I would have no hesitation in recommending Furzehatt House .

I was really impressed and so grateful for the high-quality care that was given to my dear Auntie throughout the 7 months she spent in the Furzehatte Nursing Home. All of the staff were extremely professional and so helpful during the Covid restriction times. They enabled me to phone and speak to the nurses for regular updates on how she was doing. The nurses would also take the Home’s mobile phone and hold it for me to speak to her directly. It was heart-breaking not being able to go inside and hug my auntie but I was especially indebted to the lovely nurse, Marie, who showed such personal loving care and provided my closest link to her. Latterly, I was able to make face-to-face (masked) visits and found the premises to be clean; the meals provided to be of good quality; and all of the staff that I saw to be efficient, friendly, caring and helpful. I would not hesitate in highly recommending this wonderful Nursing Home.

Despite the toxic comments by some below this Home is amazing to be in. The staff are professional and very hard working as well as caring. they have an incredible passion and determination to look after the patients in there care as if they were there own family. Like every job ther are good days and bad days however the staff work togeather to ensure each and every resident is properly cared for. Look inside and see the some of the residents that have been there for years who are smiling and happy with everything they have around them.

This home has some of the most caring staff Ive ever come across.
There are days obviously in any working enviroment when things dont go according to plan. However the professionalism shown is outstanding.
Their end of life care is exemplary. My grandmother was shown extreme dignity and care in her last few months and was respected throughout.
Look beyond and realise the staff have the residents at the forefront. Many residents have been here for many years and if you stop and talk to these people you will know that your loved one is in extremely safe hands.
