This is a fabulous Victorian railway station, being renovated and restored, to be used as a youth and community facility. It's packed full of heritage, and even the restoration is a community activity, and helping to teach architecture and surveying students about heritage building techniques, from sash window restoration to lime plastering. More local people are getting involved every month, so its building a community spirit, and once complete will offer even more community services.

There is an open day on 24 July 2021 from 10 until 4, with station tours, refreshments and opportunities to contribute to the public consultation on plans for the building and charity.
