I had an eye test with the optional extra test and new spectacles.
At every stage I received professional, caring and helpful staff that were experienced and knowledgeable. I also received emails to remind me of my appointments. My appointments were on time and I had plenty time to try on, and help to choose suitable new frames.
My new spectacles were from Orgreen a designer range with Zeiss lenses. They were certainly not the cheapest but I got what I paid for ie quality of frame and lenses.
A very much better experience than high street busy chain opticians.

I went to Geoff Steven's opticians because I was so dissatisfied with other well known franchises rushing me through my eye test, unable to wait for my responses as they obviously had to meet a time target. Mark, the optometrist was professional, very pleasant and patient. He took time to listen to my responses and to discuss and explain the health of my eyes. It was so relaxed. It was exceptional service from all the team and I highly recommend them.

I started with Geoff Steven and Sons because it was my local optician at the time. I like the service provided and even after moving away from the area I still find the price is competitive and value for money which is important. Even though like most you occasionally shop around to find a cheaper price to cut costs you can’t beat the friendly service, knowledge and experience that Geoff Steven and Sons. The glasses I wear have very sturdy frames and have lasted a long time without need of repair or altering, I also use Geoff Steven and Sons for my contact lenses which have been a really helpful with the busy job I do. The one thing that comes to mind most frequent when I think about Geoff Steven and Sons was the time I showed up to my contact lenses check wearing my glasses. Don’t know what I was thinking and I was very embarrassed. The optician was very accommodating and didn’t just send me away like he could have done. I could list many reasons to use Geoff Steven and Sons, naming every individual who works there but I could go on forever.

When booking the appointment I was given a good selection of times and dates to suit my busy calendar.

Appointment was held in a great space with an optometrist who managed to perfectly walk the fine line between friendly and professional. I felt very well looked after and in safe hands.

Recently visited to get my eyes tested after having diabetes during pregnancy and getting migraines and blurred vision. Staff couldnt of been more helpful and friendly. Optician was very imformative and spent time chatting to me about what is causing the issues with my eyes and what i can do to help. Only a mild prescription needed so no glasses but there was a good selection. Great family friendly optician!
