I called for some bread, and recommended the slow sour dough which was spot on.
The raspberry muffins had just come out of the oven and smelt outrageous!! I bought a couple and just had one with a brew OMG!!
I can't recommend this shop enough, I will be back.....very soon!

Random find on Google maps but my goodness am I glad! What a beautiful shop, lots of typical farm shop fare jars upon jars of various jams and preserves as well as other things but the main draw, the sandwiches are out of this world, I had roast chicken, stuffing and gravy special and was blown away by the quality and size. I followed up with one of tbe best brownies I have ever had. We will be going back again to visit for the amazing sandwiches but also the lovely staff make it extremely welcoming

I made the mistake of thinking it actually had a sit down element to the building, but it did not. This was a destination visit quite a substantial distance covered to get there, great service from all staff . The guy seems well obsessed with his cheese. They even had a Manchester tart. But Do not do whole milk if you like whole milk in your coffee, we ended up buying the milk from the Next Door shop to add to the coffee..
One of those places where you really feel the owners have got commitment to what they’re doing .

Absolute gem of a place, we live a couple of villages away and only just tried it last week, we’ve been twice since as the produce and value for money is incredible, can’t believe we hadn’t gone in sooner - I was pleasantly surprised at all the stock too we’ll definitely be getting birthday hampers from here. Until then weekly sandwiches on gorgeous bread and the best chocolate cake I’ve ever had!

We’ve been going to gg’s for two years and have always loved their treats. My
Wife’s birthday just passed and they helped work for a beautiful custom cake and had it within two days of the order, they really went above and beyond on the chocolate and it tasted delicious would highly recommend for cakes and treats but everything there is beautiful - Andy and Dan

We called in today 25 March. I had read that the bakery did the best pork pies, so had to call in and see. Spoke with the owner who was very pleasant and chatted away. We walked out with a pork pie (not yet tried it) and a large steak pie. We had 1/2 the pie for dinner this evening wow what a lovely tasty steak pie. We may have to visit again in the near future..

Called in by chance as I was passing during a long drive.

Great local gem of a place. Some wonderful, interesting things on the shelves. Patés, sauces, pickles! A foodies delight... Sandwiches on freshly made, artisan bread and a great selection of cheese for somewhere so small. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. I only wish I lived more local.

Oh wow. Probably the best Pork Pie and Sausage roll I've eaten, it's always been Appleton's for me but the pork pie from here was perfection! I would love to know if they make them in store.
