I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Vicky, the CEO of Glad’s House UK, back in 2016, and in May 2017 we got to celebrate Glad’s House 10 year anniversary, we had a great day at Linfield Park Racecourse - such a pleasure to be part of their special day..

The work that Vicky and her empowering team do to help street children in Mombasa is simply amazing, and difficult to describe in words..

In May 2018 I was fortunate to be a part of their second race day at Linfield race course, and in March 2019 I went out to Mombasa and spent some valuable time with Vicky and the team, and was given an insight into the amazing work they do. To visit Mombasa has always been a personal dream of mine, so I will be eternally grateful for one of the most memorable experiences of my life - and hope so hope to return one day soon

My friend Martin and I played in two games of street football with homeless children as part of Glad’s House football programmes, and the second game in particular was unbelievable, after being 3:0 down, the scores were levelled at 4:4, and then our team got a winner in the remaining seconds. The energy, togetherness and empowerment in that particular moment in time is difficult to describe in words, but I felt part of something of a higher source

I absolutely loved the Kenyan people; humble, respectful, happy, friendly people that welcomed Martin and I into their country and lives

Vicky, Bokey, Liz, Kevin, Abdul and all the team at Glad’s House you are all such unbelievable, selfless people

I look forward to where our future friendship and link will lead ?

This is an incredible charity who work with Kenyan children to help get them off the streets. They've been doing wonderful work for over a decade now. We are delighted to support everything they do.
