This lock is in a very picturesque setting on the River Thames just a short walk from the Village centre of Goring..... There is a lot to see with all the lovely boats and of course the wildlife the river attracts.....Plus you have got the riverside walks to enjoy.......👍

Beautiful lock with two bridges over the Thames situated between two chocolate box villages. Plenty of walks and a couple of good pubs as well. If you go in August weekend you might be lucky enough to have the WI serve tea and cake. Yummy.

Goring is really nice scenic and pleasant lock. Me and my dad do a lot of fishing along the river around there and it is so peaceful. The walks around goring are great, however bring a pack lunch as the food around the area is not great for the pallet. Apart from the food this are would make a great day out!!!

Beautiful walks by the river in a fantastic setting between the peaceful villages of Goring and Steatley. Lovely to watch the boats slip by and to get a view of the stunning properties along the river bank. Stroll in to Goring to get some lunch or head up to the hills for a magnificent view of the valley.

Went here on a whim and glad I did. A hidden gem. Parking in town is limited, but parking within a short walk is available and well worth it. There's a relatively short walk along the Thames that takes you to a high point with stunning views.
The pubs and restaurants are of a high quality. I highly recommend a visit here, weather your visiting by car or by Boat you won't be disappointed.
