I have been a tenant of my address for 27 years with Housing association and then when Grand Union took over . Ever since being with Grand Union they have always treated me with respect, care and understanding. At times some of the contractors have fallen short of expectations but, Grand Union made sure they were replaced as soon as possible.
Only today I had to call with a problem , every effort was made to help with to satisfy my concerns. I so very much hope that in the future, any changes made won't affect such a competent, professional service that Grand Union gives me.

I had problems with not receiving my rent rebate, but the gentleman I spoke to was able to sort out my problem there and then. Then I received a call from the fiance dept to say all would be sorted very soon. As I lost my husband in April life is difficult enough so it was nice getting such prompt attention.

Great customer service. I was sent a text 10mins before arrival which really helped and also the engineer was respectful of my home (taking his shoes off) and completed the job swiftly with lovely manners. Thank you

My shower broke down about ten weeks ago but I had to cancel the repair because I broke my femur and have just arrived home after eight weeks in hospital. I called Grand Union today and explained my situation and the lovely man I spoke to booked it as an emergency and told me someone would be out today. Within about three hours of that call the engineer arrived. He was very pleasant, very polite and so understanding. He got the job done and I can finally have my first proper shower in ten weeks. I'm more than delighted with the service I have received today. Thank you so much to everyone concerned with this repair.

After having part of my windows and door replaced I am far from happy, firstly the back door I chose was not the one I chose, secondly the lock on it is of extremely poor quality, the overall design of the door is poor quality and very small compared to the original door I had, as for the windows, there is absolutely no security like the previous windows, the windows don’t have any security locks on them like the previous ones and I had extra security locks on the previous doors and windows now there is nothing which makes me feel very uncomfortable and not safe as it seems easy for someone to break in and as I have disabilities I would find it difficult to defend myself, live in a village location so the time the police would take to come the offenders would be long gone, my advice would be to check exactly what is being replaced and the quality and security and if not happy, keep what you have and refuse it until you get something you are happy with. On this occasion I’m am going to have to spend a lot of money on security locks to make myself feel safe.

Kitchen refit,
I have asked for permission to have the pantry wall removed So I can actually fit a fridge freezer in the kitchen As at the moment there is no room to put a fridge freezer in there,, I have contacted Grand Union twice about this matter and I was asked to send photos of the kitchen Which I did And still almost 2 months later, I have had not had a response.

Bathroom refit,
I was contacted about four months ago about having the bathroom refitted As I cannot use the bath And I’m having to wash in the sink as a disabled person this is very unsuitable, I keep asking Grand Union about the bathroom Refit, but I’m unable to get any kind of response, All I need is a wet room installed, I have epilepsy and the doctors have advised me not to get inside the bath As this could lead to epileptic fit, I am constantly have to wash myself in the sink And despite the dangers of me possibly slipping over on the wet floor Grand Union cannot see the importance of this work being done quickly.

Each time I contact Grand Union on the telephone, the staff are always nice and very polite.

Was a great guy! He explained what he was going to do, without me asking! Was pleasant and very polite and had a smile. Makes such a difference when jobs are done with a smile ? I hope he goes far in his career
