Lovely place to visit, the duck pond is lovely with its surrounding gardens. The town centre has beautiful flower arrangements/beds everywhere and flowers even growing on the roadside. There are plenty of cafes and places to eat but sadly now only a few gift shops scattered about probably Covid hasn't helped. Still it's always a lovely place to visit and a lovely walk along the front with views across the estuary with a lovely ice cream

Wonderful place to visit. Have not visited this area of the lakes and was most surprise at how nice the area is. There is a town to visit that has interesting shops to see. The most important dog friendly. The staff go out of there way to accommodate people with dogs. You can even eat with your dog too. Just hate leaving Rosie in the room. There are nice walks around the hotel and along the sands. We will be visiting again.

We arrived this afternoon in dry but cloudy weather. Walking down and along the promenade looking across the bay was lovely scenery. Enjoyed looking around the shops , and bought some chocolates from the lovely Choco-Lori of Grange.

Been gos many times, but disappointed this time. Went to have a game of pitch and put when the gardening team came to cut the grass while we were playing. I was on my disability scooter while this young lad was on a John Deere! When I eventually had enough and complained to him he just said he was trying to be polite? Surely cutting the grass can be done when people are not there playing. There enough weeds to get rid of!

A nice little town with most of the amenities you'd want. The dominant feature is that it is separated from the sea front by a railway line with a 50mph speed limit, although I didn't see any trains going that fast when I was there . There are several bridges and unmanned level crossings to get you across the line. Once on the promenade you are rewarded with great views across Morecambe Bay. There is a little cafe on the prom serving coffees and basic snacks.

There is a pleasant formal garden at the North end of town.
