Grantham and District Hospital - Grantham

I was admitted to this hospital 23.4.25 for an operation that should have taken about an hour. Due to a complication the operation took four hours and was successful. I have to commend the surgeon who did a remarkable job.
All the staff that took care of me, were outstanding, in particular the senior male nurse, on wards 1 and 2. He's a credit to his profession.
Outwardly, the hospital appears very tired but the wards were spotlessly clean and up to date. I wish to send my greatful thanks to all staff involved in my care.

It is such a sad shame that this hospital feels so underused. We had an outpatient appointment and it was a little like a deserted building.

With waiting lists being so long for some clinics, it is nice to see them having appointments on Saturdays, and I suppose that it being so quiet meant I could park easily.

I’m so grateful to all the doctors and nurses who work here at Grantham UTC. For once, I felt so at ease being in this type of environment.
They assisted me instantly and made the necessary checks accordingly and I cannot thank them enough. The work they are doing has not gone unnoticed and all the other patients who have been here can vouch for them too. I’m so so thankful we have a service like this. You all really are heroes!

Been at Grantham Hospital this evening for poorly daughter. There for 4 hrs. These people are absolutely amazing, over stretched but brilliant. Really appreciate this service from reception to docs and blood test.
Great service in every way.
Update: Another visit today for same daughter. Once again superb service, lovely receptionist,kind and smiling. Very quick triage and prompt follow up with Dr Henry. Thorough, kind, timely. Thank you Grantham Hospital.

Just want to say a massive thank you to the services at Grantham Hospital. From going in via Urgent treatment to accessing the services at assessment and ambulatory centre I’ve felt nothing but respect, listened to and given excellent care. The nurses, doctors and all other staff who helped me need recognition as they were amazing. Thank you all

Thank you to all staff on the EAU who cared for
my elderly mother over New Year when you were so very busy. Mum came in from Boston A and E and was given a scan for a possible PE and discharged back to her care home on 2nd January. My only criticism is how difficult it was to get information but I do understand that that was due to pressures on staff at the time. We are grateful to all involved.

Went for mri the staff were amazing they are so friendly. This was my 1st time at the hospital, it looked clean, fresh and bright. If it was closer to me it would definitely be my choice of hospitals
