Bought a dash cam on Friday via online app and collected it from the Grantham branch... Spoke with the older lady who said i had 30 days to return it if its not right. Today i returned it due to it not charging as i have an issue with the cigerette lighter in my car which was unknown to me prior to buying it, and was hoping to purchase a USB dash cam instead. Spoke with the guy with a ponytail who seemed to contradict what the lady who sold me it had said and stated it was "against their policy " for argos to take back dash cams due to they cant see if anything has been recorded on it. Must have told him 5/6 times that the camera wouldnt even charge let alone record on it so there wasnt anything on it which he clearly had no interest in listening to what i had to say. All the pacakging and stickers/tags were still on the camera. Why accept returns when they go back on their word... Been told two different stories by staff members who clearly contradicted each other.

Update on this - Returned to Argos two days after leaving the review to have my camera fully refunded by a staff member which proves the guy with the ponytail was talking utter rubbish and clearly didn't know how to do a refund

Absolutely rubbish I reserved a item for my son last night and received a email this morning at 8:32 am saying that it was ready only to be told when I turned up to collect it that I couldn't receive this item due to the tills being down so I have paid for it but I cannot have it that is not fair as, and this is the second time it has happened at Sainsbury's and Argos the same thing happened to the tills 2 weeks ago
