Review update!

I left the initial review (you can read it below) when I joined Grantham Tennis Centre and I've really enjoyed my membership since then.
I've always believed in posting honest comments that address the good and the bad.
There's so many good things about this Club (see my comments below!) so that's the good part.
But there's one thing I would add since that initial review and that is the Club Management often like to state that feedback is welcome. However my experience is that any and all feedback I have personally offered has been casually dismissed and is not really welcomed at all! I would go so far as to say feedback in practice is actively discouraged. Seems a shame but this is how many clubs and organisations generally operate these days so I guess it's just the way it is and less work for all! Oh well, 5 stars was too much to hope for.

What a super welcome from this club!! From the moment I stepped in the door at reception a month ago, every single member of staff has offered me a warm and friendly hello, been on hand to answer any queries I might have, and made themselves available to offer advice or steer me in the right direction as and when it's needed. That goes for the tennis side of things AND the gym too. Superb service all round! And the members seem really chilled also, making it easy to make friends and join in:-)
You couldn't wish for a better atmosphere to be honest, and the coaching staff aren't just great at what do, they like a laugh too! Loving it, thanks very much to everyone at GTC!

My son has been playing at Grantham for about six months now. He loves it! He is in a coaching group with Stuart who has been a great mentor to him, Stuart has guided us and kept us well informed of opportunities of upcoming competitions. It's lovely to see my son explore his passion of tennis at this club. All of the staff are extremely helpful and professional.
It is great to be able to watch with a fresh cup of coffee and a yummy treat from the café too 😊 Thanks for making us feel welcomed and looked after, we feel very lucky to be part of the club.

Can't comment on the place as a tennis club, went there to look at an art exhibition, upstairs over the indoor courts. What I can, after having driven past the place on many occasions is what a belting place, courts everywhere, lots of people playing and all the infrastructure was top quality.
Really impressed, viewed as an outsider.

A great establishment with an abundance of friendly staff who are always happy to assist. The Tennis Club has a Gym, Cafe with homemade sandwiches, paninis, cakes, biscuits and hot food. The Tennis Club also has Tennis courts inside and outside. Plus other exciting aspects to the Tennis Club. I have no hesitation recommending the Tennis Club. Pop in and see what you're missing!
