Excellent local venue for party or celebrations. Upstairs room has stage area for performers and disco. Good clean modern toilets both upstairs and down. Full bar upstairs with draught beers on tap. Car park at the rear of the building is well kept and well lit. Entrance from the car park and main entrance at the front.

A very nice club, I was made to feel very welcome by the staff and club members. The drinks top quality and the place is well run and very clean. Our band played at gig in the function room. Which is a great medium size venue.

Went to join a line dancing evening with friends. Have lived here 6 years and never knew it existed. Nice place though, I must go back for a good look around

Still line dancing a year later and staff are very helpful.

If you like a reasonably priced drink (And who doesn't?) among friendly local people, then you can't go wrong with a visit to the 'Welfare'. There's also the regular bingo session and a large upstairs function room thrown in for good measure. Worth the small cost of the membership.

Had a excellent 60th birthday party on the 4th March the staff the room everything about the Greasley miners welfare was excellent would recommend this place to everyone. And would especially like to thank Chris for everything x x x
