Very rude and intimidating young men outside bognor regis co'op today. Your credibility has gone down. I'm sure the hospital give good care but charity trainers or whoever sets these disrespectful louts up is losing you support. You're shooting yourself in the foot

Late night canvassing: as others have reported, at 8pm last night, three hours after nightfall, our doorbell rang. A young man whose top garment read 'Great Ormond Street' asked if I had heard of the GOS charity. I told him that it was unacceptable to cold-call well after dark in this village which has no street lights This could be scary for elderly folk living alone. He was polite and withdrew with an apology.
We had a similar cold call after dark a few years ago. This behaviour gives the charity a bad name.

At 8.00 pm last night there was someone from GOSH knocking on my front door. It was very dark, all he initially had for identification was a GOSH logo’d fleece. Who directs these people to knock on doors at this time of night? There has to be better fundraising direction given for such a great hospital.

unfortunately, without informing people that the viewing time is canceled and no one bothers to call and we people travel for hours to catch up, if we don't come, the state will fine me now who should I fine in such a case Absurdit

Simply, It's a fully justified centre of excellence.
Maybe they should be sharing their experience with some other hospitals in this country. The latter have a great deal to learn from them.

Two experiences of very hard sell sales tactics now in two weeks. One in Sainsbury’s doorway and one at home. On both occasions as I’ve recently donated to GOSH and told them that, they would not stop. Relentless questions, over smiley, gushing, wouldn’t stop when I repeated I made a donation last week. This is unacceptable and worrying for elderly neighbours. They would have more success asking people simply if they’d like to donate and leaving if not. But also who wants to give money or bank details to cold callers. The nice tabards aren’t necessarily going to give credibility given the surge scams these days.

We’ve been harassed by GOSH representatives on numerous occasions now. They knocked our door THREE times in a single day. Once at midday when no-one was home, the second just 10 minutes after I arrived home from work (obviously stalking me), and the third at 8:30pm!! I’ve previously expressed my disinterest on donating to the charity, yet they continue to return to our property. If a property could be put on a sort of TPS these guys would be in some serious trouble. After speaking to neighbours, they had nothing good to say either (we have a community Facebook Group), some even said that the representatives were extremely rude and overly personal - one lady even had to leave her house because she didn’t feel safe! Times are hard enough and people certainly aren’t going to donate money to a charity that is being represented by such rude individuals. We’ve offered to give them some spare change as a donation but they insist on bank details. You can jog on if you think I’m going to be giving my bank details to some stranger at my doorstep. I’ll happily donate to charity but it will be on my own terms - not with harassment and peer pressure at my door. I wrote this review after GOSH decided to ignore my email of complaint. We’ve now opted to purchase a ‘no cold callers’ plaque to prevent them from visiting in future. If they choose not to comply and continue to harass us, I will be taking this further; perhaps even deciding as a community to set up a ‘no cold calling zone’ with the Local Authority if need be.
