I often take my children to this wonderful well kept park. Very nice play area set aside the playing fields with a little public footpath leading to brindle Lodge which is very good for adventures and wildlife spotting. On entrance to the park is a cafe where delicious ice creams are available and other refreshments.

Went to Gfest '18 on the Saturday. A wide range of beers, lagers and ciders. There was also a gin (which seems to be the fashion) stand too. Also there was a stage that had a number of very good local musical acts that played throughout the day. Food was also available through a number of mobile outlets (pizza, burger, hot dog etc). Activities was also available for children. A good day was had by all

Great space to walk about with ya dogs, just annoying when people with dogs, who have no control over their dogs let them run over and attack other dogs, if you have no control over your dog, get it on a lead...
