Although I only rated it 3 stars,purely on the facilities available, this public hall is a vital part of the village. I'm a pensioner who grew up in this village and left to join the forces at 18. In the 50 years since it has remained a place for every type of function you can think of. I had my wedding reception here, you can rent it for family gatherings, Jumbo sales, Coffee mornings, public meetings and most things you can think of that needs somewhere to hold it. There is toilet facilities,tea and coffee making facilities. The bar can be booked for certain activities with prior knowledge. It is a must to stay as a centre for the village and for the community to cherish. Check with village Facebook page for bookings.
