I had a really unpleasant experience with a staff member this morning. She was on the early shift, wearing a dark blue uniform and quite a bit of makeup for that time of day. She had an Eastern European accent and responded to a simple question I asked in a way that felt rude and belittling. Instead of just answering politely, she made me feel small, completely unnecessary if you ask me. If you’re in a customer facing role, basic respect and empathy should be a non negotiable. Based on how I was treated, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

The Manor House is OK......until your elderly relative with growing dementia is deemed "a problem" and has to go to hospital. Then, as we found, the Manor House doesn't allow them back.

The clues are actually there from the start - the place has a nice, quiet, country hotel feel about it the moment you walk in. So they don't want any demented OAPs messing up the ambiance.
