A truly beautiful experience. Set in fabulous grounds in beautiful surroundings, Linda and Charles are exceptional hosts. The rooms provide luxury for guests. The bed was the most comfortable I've slept in when away from home. Luxury toiletries, coffee machine and tea making facilities. Huge breakfasts are provided, fantastically prepared, many of the ingredients locally sourced and presented in a traditionally English way. 10 out of 10 from my fiance and myself. We will definitely be returning to this peaceful haven.

We stayed in Harptree Treehouse which is really beautiful and luxurious. Very peaceful with just the sounds of the birds and woods. Everything had been so well thought out, the place is spotless and has all the kitchen utensils you can think of. Lots of info on walks, pubs etc. as well as good old fashioned games to play. Great welcome pack with lots of goodies including home made cup cakes, nice coffee and different teas, fresh eggs, bacon, cheese, fresh bread, butter and milk, granola, marmalade and jam. I stayed in the Treehouse. Such friendly hosts, beautiful grounds, super relaxing. So close to lots of amazing pubs and all the key things people come to this area to see. Our stay in the Harptree Court townhouse was simply fantastic. The grounds are immaculately kept with lots of great nooks to explore. These are perfect for short walks whilst some of the best longer walks in the Mendips are at your doorstep. Inside, it combines sylvan cozyness with beautifully coordinated modern country interiors. The cooked breakfast ingredients and delicious cake from the hosts make proud to be British. Hospitality enough to make Bilbo Baggins blush.

If you want peace and quiet and need to recharge your batteries this is the place to stay a superb tree house in the woods simply stunning a lovely welcome pack on arrival there's lots of lovely walks and a great pub with great food a 10 minute walk away simply breathtaking highly recommended
