Called to book for baby bday party, was told they’re not doing birthdays as they’re too busy and directed me to a bar down the road. ?
It does state on their website that the hall is perfect for baby groups and birthdays. But for some bizarre reason they are not doing birthdays.
So maybe just book it as something else instead.

Edit: A birthday is no more time consuming for the hall than bible studies or a book club so I fail to see their point. This is the purpose of a community hall, to serve the community!
More so, why they think it is acceptable to have a baby’s birthday surrounded by alcohol and darts, amongst other things, is beyond me.

What a fantastic space /room, we went to a Barn Dance there on Saturday night and what fun we had, Duncan was an amazing teacher and I particularly liked the line dance we did, I can actually still remember the steps and recreated for my daughter on Sunday morning, my grandson met a new friend called John, his birthday is 3 days apart from Xavier' albeit 82 years difference they got on like a house on fire, we very much enjoyed our evening and look forward to the next one, thank you for making the newbies welcome
