My grandad was in this care home last year under respite care and it’s a very good, professional and caring - especially the staff, they are always keen to help and they are so good with all the residents. I was able to eat lunch with my pops there in their little eating area where the lunch was prepared by the staff and the food was so good and tasted like homemade food! It’s everything you could want. The management is young, cooperative and always professional… They help in ANY matter and I can contact them by the email, phone and face to face and they will always reply and answer any questions or my concerns. The residents are so well looked after, and I just wanted to say an incredibly huge thank you to the staff that works there as I think they do an amazing job and they are incredible for doing the job which they do because it isn’t easy at all. They have so much patience and passion for these residents it’s so beautiful to see, this is the best care home you could take your family to and I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a care home for their loved ones!

I'm an outside contractor, who has recently worked at Haslington Lodge. It's was a pleasure to go to work there everyday. The home is extremely clean and well maintained. Regarding the staff, they are all faultless and treat the residents will the upmost care and respect. I would recommend this residential home to family and friends.

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES PUT SOMEONE YOU LOVE IN THIS BUILDING THEY CALL A CAREHOME.
Within in 5 weeks they have successfully neglected my Dad to a level which is unimaginable. They have openly omitted the night staff are inadequate but they day staff are not much better. I had not seen my Dad for a couple of weeks and the state I saw him in was a complete shock. They literally throw him in his chair and walked away before they had even left the room he fell out but lucky enough I caught him. I called for help and they just turned and said he’s ok just tired. He looked dirty with stains on his trousers and top. His teeth have not been cleaned for weeks he looked frail and weak. They informed me he had put in 10 kilos in 5 weeks but I think due to there lack of care they meant to say the truth he has lost 10 kilos in 5 weeks. I didn’t want to leave him because I didn’t feel happy with anything that was happening in the home. My Feelings were right two days after that my dad has had a huge fall and he’s now in hospital. He is bruised all over his body has.a Chest infection a UTI and his infection markers are off the scale. When contacting the Care Home , nobody knew anything nobody really cared about anything only to inform us the Night staff are not very good and call back Monday morning I will be asking for a full report and I will be making a formal complaint and going to the CQC. It is absolutely disgusting the way that these homes treat elderly people.

The staff are amazing and so caring not just to my mum who is a resident but also to my dad and all the family.
The meals are great and dad is welcome to stay should he wish to... and was even invited to Christmas dinner.
With movie night,cake decorating, games and singers ect residents are well entertained ..... I cannot praise Haslington enough xxx

Today, I had the pleasure of visiting Haslington Residential Care Home in a professional capacity. After a warm welcome from the team, I saw that the residents were well-presented, engaged in meaningful activities and I saw plenty of smiles. The leadership team at Belmont Healthcare are clearly very good at what they do and the care workers do a great job of looking after their residents.
