Hatch Warren Community Centre is first and foremost a large green space that is open to the public and free to visit, with a small free car park on site (just remember there is a one way system!).

The space itself has 2/4 football pitches marked out for most of the year and is regularly cut by the council, so the grass is generally a sensible length year-round.

There are some small wooded areas that separate the field from nearby housing areas, but you can explore some of these if you want a bit of variety on a walk.

Great place to bring dogs and there are bins either end of the field for you to dispose of any "gifts".

There is a small strip in the centre that was once part of a cricket pitch, but it's in no fit state to be used anymore for that purpose. Maybe the council will fix it once day?

The hall itself often hosts events and is also open for private hire. It's worth checking their noticeboard or Facebook page to see what's on.

Hall is spacious, easily fits a large bouncy castle in. The other rooms are a good size and there is a small outdoor courtyard. The field is great and seems to be free of the usual 'presents' left by dogs. Plenty of parking.

Used main hall for birthday party. Plenty of space and reasonably priced. Care taker was punctual and extremely accommodating.

We hired the main hall and lounge for our Son's 21st birthday. All of the dealings that we had with the staff at the community centre were first class from our very first initial enquiry, to locking up and liaising with the caretaker at the end of our party. The hall is lovely and the kitchen is very well equipped and we were more than happy with it as a venue for our party. We would not hesitate to recommend the hall for a party venue, or for any other purpose and would like to thank Clare, Jo, Jenny and the rest of the team for helping us to enjoy what was a wonderful night for my Son.

Thanks again to all

This review is based on the fireworks show which to be fair it pretty good. However it’s expensive to get in with a family ticket costing £22. When you get inside the fun attractions are very limited with two rides (dodgems and teacups) and trampoline and win toys etc. These all cost quite a bit so the price to visit soon goes up to quite an amount for then evening when you add in some food and drinks. I’m comparing this to Cranleigh in Surrey which has an excellent free display combined with a proper funfair.

Note once you are in you cannot leave and return so I’d probably advise against visiting if you have small children and need to return home or to your car.

It’s a good place to hold private events like birthday parties. Quite a spacious hall. Outside there is a big sporting field with few football pitches. Ample parking space.

Went to the firework display. i do have to say you get your moneys worth with fireworks but i think it is the only display we have been to over the last 3 years that has not timed there display to music, which was weird i do prefer when there is music. It was very crowded and they hadnt spread out the stall enough, the end of the feild was empty, which was fine when watching the fireworks but to come into the field was very busy and hard to move. Was okay but i dont think we will be going back.
