We booked a saver caravan, and it was much better than I was expecting. Very clean and modern. Overall, the park is nice with lots of activities to do (if you can afford them all). The beach is a stones throw away, and is beautiful. Also, there is a nice coastal walk to do. |My only negative is that the Cooks fish and chip shop is SO expensive for practically a portion that is not worth paying for. Pretty sure they aren’t even chippy chips and they are just oven chips, that are dry and tasteless. |Also, I found the pool to be extremely strict, and no fun is allowed. I’ve been to many havens before, and I have never felt like that in the pool before.

We had an amazing 4 nights stay at Caister on Sea! The beach right outside the site is such a massive plus! The beach was lovely, clean and the dog absolutely loved it. ||The site itself is huge! We got lost a few times so make sure you download the map from the haven app! The facilities are great for personally both couples and families! There is so much to do for the little ones and still plenty for adults to do whether you’re a big kid like us and love the arcades or you like evening entertainment! One negative on the facilities is Burger King was very slow! I think I waited about 20minutes just for 1 normal meal! ||We stayed in a very spacious, lovely 2 bed gold dog friendly caravan in stokesby! The caravan was well equipped with kitchen equipment, great sized beds and spacious showers! The only thing I would say about the caravan is it could do with a bit of maybe beach vibe decor in the front room…! It looked very empty and sad so could’ve done with brighten up with some bright pictures or just something especially where the tv unit is.||Overall we had a great stay and would 100% recommend a gold dog friendly caravan! So glad Haven have given us dog owners better upgrade options! ||We will definitely return to caister on sea!

Good family holiday park, with lots of things to keep all the family entertained day and evening. Dog friendly, it even has an enclosed dog park! The beach is so beautiful and lovely for walks with the family and dogs. The restaurant food was of a good standard and was served in a timely fashion. All the staff here are so polite and helpful. Will definitely be coming again. I even got to see the northern lights!!

A lovely massive holiday park, been coming here for 5 years, plenty for the kids to do, has a pub on site Papa John's, a burger king, small shop and chip shop. Ideal. And only 10 minutes from Great Yarmouth. We stayed in one of there dog friendly budget caravans. And it's only 1 minute walk to the beach.

Stayed for 2 nights and managed to pack so much in. |The park is lovely and so well maintained. |The local area is beautiful and a stones throw from the cheesy fun of Great Yarmouth. |If you get the chance, watch the sun rise over the sea..... You wont be disappointed.|Friendly staff. |Generally a good fun, cheesy caravan holiday|A good range of activities. |Couple of points of improvement, not the most accessible. Signs for accommodation areas are difficult to find In the dark and not completely clear. |The downside for us came from other guests leaning dog poo, rubbish, ripping up wet grass with parking. Maintenance/grounds were working to rectify these things.

The whole site is very well maintained, clean and tidy. Staff are lovely and friendly.
Caravans spotless.
But what sells it The Beach ? just beautiful and its right there minutes from your caravan.
People complain about the Mash and Barrel,.
but we ate there all week all the meals were great. With one exception Sunday Lunch, it was just warm.

Love Caister-on-Sea
I have personally been 4 times. (Haven)
It is worth choosing a particular location, though.
The caravans need to be maintained more, though, such a shame, really beautiful beach....I cannot comment on the facilities, as I've never used them.
The photos are a Silver grade. The shower door didn't close, and the water temperature was scolding. Took ages to get it right, as the controller was tight and a bit rusted.

Rich from the security team was awesome. Our car had sat idle all week next to the caravan without starting so the battery was dead when we were about to leave to check out. We made a call to security for some help and Rich was there in 10 minutes with a battery pack and got our car started. With our baby in the car it was such a relief and we're very grateful. We've been twice now (just this year) and all of the staff have been so pleasant, the girls at the main gate and reception have also been exceptional.
