I've no direct experience of the services of Headway (Ipswich), but have visited as a volunteer for Brainy Dogs, who are based on-site. Brainy Dogs provide therapy for a wide range of people from disadvantaged backgrounds, by various forms of canine interaction. I enjoyed the great privilege & have pleasant memories of walking the schemes figurehead dog, Hope (the black Lab/Spaniel cross in the photo...) Hope was like a 4-legged Mother Teresa, achieving so much good for so many throughout her life. Unfortunately, Hope died at the end of 2021, but Brainy Dogs continues to bring joy into peoples lives, with its other dogs.
