My mum was in the home between 2017 and 2022. Due to the manager and staff failing to follow advice from professionals my mum passed away.
There was an inquest into her death and the coroner ruled neglect.

I work within the healthcare industry providing mobility equipment and have visited hundreds of homes over a 12 year period and witnessed all levels of care from very poor to excellent. On my visit today along with an Occupational Therapist to visit a resident at Hesslewood House we we really impressed with our experience, we worked alongside two amazing care Staff (Pat and Hannah) It was fantastic to see such a genuine passion to help the resident and could see they took great pride in giving such a high level of care, fantastic to see!
