Visited after a hockey match for teas with the local club. We arrived to be told by the lady that nobody had told her we were coming. She then unlocked a door to a huge, freezing cold room and told us to wait there. Went to order a drink and got told to wait back in that room. We waited for a bit, the other team arrived to say the chippy was closed, so did we want some crisps? We decided to go home.

Proper stinks in here it’s like stepping back to the 1950s. bar staff are just odd. wouldn’t recommend going in unless you like chilling with old smelly men

Went to see the big band on a Wednesday evening in the concert room. Very low profile but what a great experience. Ex pro musicians just getting together for the sheer joy of playing. Absolutely brilliant.

Took my son to a 5th birthday party there, the room was quite large with a raised seated area (access by steps) and extra tables laid out on the lower floor. Enough room to lay food out, there is a stage for a dj, and yes the party was a hit.
