I'm part of a Coffee morning held in Falmouth on a Thursday morning but because the Thursday of 2 weeks ago, the church that we usually use was closed because of the election, we all went to Highway church in Penryn. They have a super cafe there. We had cake and coffee in the morning and stayed on for lunch. Lovely, friendly hosts and good food. I thoroughly recommend the Dwell cafe in Highway Church. Large carpark at the rear of the church.

What a wonderful church, at last, Christians who look after each other as a family. I have been very moved by this church, we received the warmest of welcomes when we first attended and were accepted into the church-family without any questions. When I suffered an accident, I broke my leg, the church rallied around to support my wife and came to our aid in doing jobs, cooking meals and just being there for us. It is possibly the first church we have attended that live the life of the church in the first century AD. Sadly we were forced to move because of the teachings of the pastor and his lies, the congregation are lovely people and the Pastor has since left (retired)

Today I found my spiritual Cornish home. It was a joy to worship with a congregation who serve God, by helping others wholeheartedly. If you're in the area, I recommend you drop in. You're guaranteed a warm welcome and a lovely cup of coffee.

Attended a craft fair in the hall here, a pleasant space, light and warm. Very good cafe area serving cakes, drinks etc. Nice cosy sitting area with slouchy sofas. Interesting murals painted on the walls outside
