Went to have paperwork photocopied and then fast tracked me knowing it would be super fast. The place is massive, clean and very helpful. The guys that speak to you when you enter and friendly and make sure you're in the correct place. Includes council, job centre and benefits help. They also do some amazing course related to DV which I highly recommend for anyone struggling. I spoke to them at a work expo at Redmoor (for the GCSE leavers) and they have special things in the work place regarding adhd and other additional needs if employed by them. Very refreshing.

So disappointed by the inadequate waste collection services provided by the Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council. Despite high taxes, the bi-weekly collection schedule and small bin sizes lead to waste accumulation, attracting a large amount of flies and posing health hazards, especially in warmer months. All I’m told is to “manage the waste better” – how about you do the job we pay towards and collect the waste appropriately!

I have always found HBBC very helpful and this time was no exception. I had to make an enquiery and it was answered in a friendly and efficient manner. I didn't have wait for ages on the phone, as they gave me a call back. A special shout out to Paul Grundy, Senior Planning Officer (Conservation & GIS).
Thank you to all of the staff at HBBC who are doing their best under what must be, very difficult circumstances, thanks to central government

Tried to order new brown bin sticker. Big queue on the phone so I thought I would go down and order it.
Met by a rather arrogant door man who told me I could not go to the counter and I had to phone them.
I told him I had tried that and didn't want to pay for a call only to be put on hold.
There was no queue at the counter!?
He told me there was a call back service, I explained that this would require me to wait around for a call back - how long would I have to wait for that?
I eventually got through after a 10 minute wait, paid my money and was issued a receipt. I asked if this would allow my bin to be emptied the following day only to be told no, it will take 10 days to be processed and posted. I said you have issued a receipt for my payment that you have recieved immediately, why is this not sufficient? It really beggars belief of this incompetent council.

On the occasions since moving into Hinckley in 2014 ,I have found the council staff ,polite and very efficient ,in person and on the phone and dealt with my enquiries speedily.

speaking for the whole of hinckley and stoke golding…if you lot allow any more houses to be built in hinckley, you are money grabbing thieves that don’t care about the people, what dim idiot is agreeing to any of these houses being built, look at the chaos it is causing, look how dead hinckley town centre is, and just think for one second how sad this place has become? shame we have these brainless people in charge
