The absolute worst surgery appointment system is shambolic. Call at 8:01 to be placed number 48th in a Que to then be told there are no more appointments for today you have to call back tomorrow.

Yesterday I wrote a review regarding what I considered an awful experience with a rude, unprofessional & ill advised receptionist ( who refused to give her name when asked ) As I really am in need of medical intervention I had no choice but to try again today, The service I got today was superb, the receptionist ( a different lady) was very professional in her manner & dealt with my problem quickly & efficiently. I was then contacted by a paramedic named Emma, she was fabulous, attentive, professional & an absolute joy to deal with, so I felt I should do a 2nd review to show that 1 person doesn't define this medical practice, I know we all have bad days, but when dealing with the delicate matter of people's health you really should be far more helpful & less arrogant than the lady yesterday... I would have given 5 stars but the lady yesterday still leaves me a little rattled..

I've been using the centre a lot recently and I have to say I've been treated with the best service. I've always managed to get appointments with in a few days , receptionists were pleasant and polite, the nurses were friendly and professional and the doctor I saw was in my opinion the best ever. Dr Pasha has seen me a few times and always sorted hospital appointments as quickly as is now possible.

For the first time in a very long time , I have to say , .service today was brilliant. , I phoned at 8.30 , had a lovely receptionist, got an appointment , staff were lovely and friendly when we arrived, and the doctor spent more than enough time with us without making you feel rushed . Thank you

This GP practice needs to start operating for the patients not the doctors again now. No NHS heroes here. Since Dr Hardie retired it is awful. I left because of how awful and didn't want to come back but I had no choice when my previous practice closed. I am a profoundly disabled in an electric wheelchair indoors and out, and in the few months I have been back I have already been put at risk by this Practice. They coudlnt' give me a phone appt for a medication review when i tried to book it weeks ago and then today cuz they had one in person that I didn't want to attend in person cuz of the unsettled weather they spoke to me like it's my fault rather than the way they are operating. It's not being run for the pateints at all. There is no actual support for the profoundly disabled leaving us at a huge disadvantage which is basically what disability discrimination is putting us at an unfair disadvantage cuz of our disability. My carer who is from an agency when I was forced back to that praictice had to attend theri twice as the first time she took my printed prescription in they said they would put it in the system and didn't. Our time is as precious as theirs. Last time i was a patient there NHS England told me I should make a formal complaint for how I was neglected by them. This time it looks to be even worse. Life is hard enough for people with profound physical disability without the people who are supposed to care for us adding even more stress. I'll soon be working from home and then I will be happy to pay for private GP treatemnt rather than continuing to be put at risk or spoken to like something is my fault when it very cldearly lies with how they are running the practice of doctors first patients last and if disabled bottom of the pile.

Edited NOVEMBER 14th 2024. Apparently they have made the list of the top 20 WORST GP's in Birmingham, in the publication Birmingham World.

Me and my daughter were up until recently patients at this surgery for about 18-19 years and for many years the surgery was good. But in later years it started going down hill, me and my daughter was always respectable to the doctors nurses, and reception staff. And then a couple of weeks ago we were sent letters to say we were taken of the list with no explanation. After ringing and speaking to the surgery manager we realised it was over a few words said to a locum doctor. The manager had no compassion at all knowing what we were going through, especially knowing my daughter has autism and this has really hit her hard and pushed her over the edge.

I’ve had appointments with two GPs, dr Kharwadkar and dr Pasha and both experiences were very good. All staff, including the IUD assistant/nurse (apologies as I didn’t catch your name) really took their time to make me feel at ease and listened to the concerns that I had about my symptoms/the procedure. All reception staff have been very polite and helpful, too. I feel really lucky to have such a good health centre on my doorstep. Thank you.

I would like to praise doctor pasha on behalf of myself and others who demonstrates compassion and empathy. Dr pasha listens actively to you and treats you as an individual not a number doing as much as he can to help you
Everyone I know who has seen Dr Pasha say the same thing one of the best GPS there and anyone who has a appointment which Dr Pasha should value that appointment
He works similar to Dr Hardy who use to work at hollymoor.
Dr pasha should be recognise as the Gp who does not treat you just medically he shows compassion on what he does
Spoken by myself and half of other people who have been treated by him.
