They are incredible. Home Start allocated to me a trained volunteer who had become my only stable and regular visitor when I had my newborn. She saved me from loneliness. She came every week and was someone I could talk to, and someone who was kind to me and my baby. For a year we met weekly except for half term holidays. Then I returned to work and regretfully could not continue the arrangement. It happened five years ago and I still think of that time fondly. Thank you Home Start.
