A friend of mine bought a boat from a member of this club in June 2024. I went to the club a few times over a few days to help with the inspection, preperation and collection of the boat. I was so impressed by this club and its members I wanted to thank them by writing this. This is a lovely, unpretentious club with a cheerful, positive, friendly, welcoming and seamanlike attitude. The facilities are designed for the mainly small yachts that members own. Thay have a full sailing and social programme. They welcomed me and my friends even giving us a key to the clubhouse and their gate. They made us tea and sold us beer. A gem. Thank you.

Lovely place to live and walk around. Lovely views of Medway overlooking the river Medway in hoo village. Walking down to the square by the factories at the marina!!

Really friendly bunch of people! I had problems on their moorings (my fault, no there's) and they helped me out without question. Even when I insisted I pay for damages, they wouldn't accept. Genuinely sound people and genuinely good club. Cheers, HNYC!

First time experience with Hoo Ness Yacht Club fantastic. All the members are extremely helpful and pleasant. I found the Medway Yacht Club to be extremely snotty and elitist however it was the complete opposite at Hoo Ness. I'm new to sailing and member Russel took his time to explain all the basics to me and took me up onto his boat for a chat! I will be joining next month, absolutely fantastic!

People who run this place are on a power trip. Over charge for every thing. No proper recite for you electric. They are rude to ever body. The people who stay here are great but I advise you find a better marina to stay
