I visited the post office on the 3rd of February 2025 to apply for my first British passport. Though my case was complex, the lady who served me was AMAZING and patient too!
The customer service in this post office is outstanding and the staff members are all friendly. I highly recommend this post office, I always feel at home. It is very rare to see this these days. OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Lovely group of helpful knowledgeable staff. Had to send some difficult parcels recently & they offer advice on how to pack as well as how best to send it, making sure it is insured correctly as well as able to track & trace the parcel every step of the way.

I purchased a Parcelforce 24 delivery and this Post Office Huddersfield Rd Wilthorpe came up as the local drop off point. I was posting an item about the size of a desktop computer, in fact it was a Dell Computer box. The rude reaction from the woman in charge when I took it in for drop off was “I cant take that the Parcelforce van came at 1pm, I haven’t got room”.. . She said I had to take it back in the morning or before 1pm. There was no specific times stated on Parcelforce website for drop offs , so I not sure why I’m being told to take it at certain times. Inadvertently I just put it back in the car and took it up to Pogmoor Post Office who were helpful and took the parcel straight away no problem.. The people that own the Wilthorpe Huddersfield Road Post Office have a reputation in the local area for being rude and unhelpful, these people have obviously no customer service skills and I will not set foot in it again! I have also reported this to the Post Office as they may need retraining on what the rules are. If I could have given 0 stars I would have done. My advice to local people is to use Pogmoor Post Office,

I needed help with documentation, due to my car being written off. Jackie & the other ladies were fantastic! They taxed my new vehicle & helped me fill in all the forms for a new V5C. We need to use the post office more, or we’ll lose it!! Thank you so much for all your help!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
