Always seems to have events held within. I visited on the evening as it provides a splendid backdrop to sit and relax outside on the benches. The cafe located to the side used to be a fantastic place for lunch but unfortunately on the last visit it was a bit of a let down.

Candlelight concert orgamised by "Fever"was fab, so much so I booked another the morning after. The events team were really welcoming and professional. Hannah the events host was funny and professional and of course the set was beautiful. The String fusion of cold play and Ed sheeran was a perfect match. Well done to all. See you in a month's time for Hans Zimmer

Hull Minster, formerly known as Holy Trinity Church, is not as well known as Beverley or York Minster but is steeped in history.
Located in a lovely old part of the city, it is close to Whitefriargate and Princes Quay and adjacent to the indoor market.
I have visited many times and am always impressed by the warm welcome of the volunteer guides and the general atmosphere. Every time I visit I notice something new-yesterday it was the 2 small stained glass windows which are at floor level.
When you visit, take your time; there’s history beneath your feet, on every surface and above in the stunning ceiling decorations.
Like many churches there are memorials to the fallen; Hull Minster also has a very moving tribute to the many lost at sea from the fishing industry.
At the end of your visit pop into the cafe for a drink and choice of delicious cakes, jacket potatoes etc.
Hull Minster regularly hosts events so look out for information about free and paid for events.

Looks sick, will decorated, plenty of painted glass, expensive cafe. Friendly church keepers. You can go really far out and explore.

Wonderfully kept and the guide volunteers are charming and very knowledgable.

The Minster has lots to look at and memorials from the Legion, plus a cute gift shop and cafe.

Definitely worth asking about the mice!
