Another lovely calm and well executed class with Marnie. I need to take on her wise words :“Yoga is not just about touching your toes, but what you learn on the way down!” If yoga can help cure my lifetime habit of always pushing things just a bit too far, that would be a result!

The tutors tailor the class to each student. They are friendly, supportive, and professional. There’s always a lovely atmosphere. Each tutor has their own style, and you will work harder in some classes than others, so it’s worth trying different classes to find a match for you. Having said that, I enjoy all of them in different ways!

Humankind is an incredibly inviting and warm studio. I attended the Sunday evening Yin session led by Chris. A really inviting way to end the weekend and start a new week. Thank you so much.

I love the variety of the classes and that each instructor brings their expertise and own style, which keeps the sessions engaging and fun. The small classes mean that, over time, the instructors learn your abilities and can build on your strengths - you're pushed but in a good way.

The whole studio is relaxed and friendly, with a lovely community vibe. This is a game-changer for me, as I'm looking forward to every lesson and have consistently built on my strength and fitness over the past months.

Humankind operate from two different studios in Kemptown: one hosting the Yoga classes and one for Reformer pilates.

The reformer beds are brand new, the classes are very small taught by an array of excellent teachers and Humankind offer different levels of intensity. If you haven't done reformer before, attend a Foundation class for £5 ( on offer at the moment ) and see for yourself. Flow classes are usually focusing on balance and strength and Fit are more cardio based.

The Yoga classes are taught in a stunningly beautiful space, often candlelit or flooded in natural light. Humankind Yoga cater for different levels of experience. All teachers are very warm and welcoming. Humankind feels more like a community than a Yoga Studio. My favourite place to train in Brighton. Highly recommended!

Excellent range of classes from Yin to Dynamic Flow so I can have a varied practice. The timing of classes late morning and Sunday are great for me! Fabulous Fri and Sat Gong sound healing classes, very informative and super stress relieving. Teachers are really welcoming and supportive. I tried a Pilates Reformer introductory class last week and loved it! Humankind Studio is a very welcome treasure and makes me happy 😊.

I have been using this yoga studio for one month. And it is brilliant. I really like the approach of the teacher which is a good balance between dynamic but also listening to your own body and what you need and not just seeing yoga as a another way to push yourself. Everyone who teachers their is Friendly and welcoming. It is easy to book an cancel classes using their app. There is also a good balance of dynamic classes and more ying classes.
