WESTBOURNE HOUSE RESIDENTS KNOCKING ON MY FRONT DOOR DEMANDING DRUGS

I am getting anti-social characters knocking on the front door of my home shouting, screaming and asking for drugs. I do not buy, sell or use illegal narcotics. They obviously have the wrong address. Yesterday in the afternoon, a woman knocked on my door and screamed demanding her "gear" through the front door of my home. She was wearing a distinct mustard coloured padded jacket and was stuffing a sandwich into her mouth. I left my home about 10 minutes later and saw her enter Westbourne House on Princes Avenue. I am sick of this. Others, both men and women, have knocked on my door like this over at least 3 or 4 years.

I am now going to take pictures of these characters and, with a written complaint, hand it to the Police, my MP Diana Johnson and Hull City Council. I was having a peaceful Sunday afternoon and this abusive anti-social character took the trouble to disturb it.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. I know somebody who is with them. They have black mould, which has been reported for a over a year, and nothing has been done. It takes between a few months to a year to get the back garden trimmed, yet their main building is always done perfectly. They have damp in their flat, again reported for over a year and nothing done. The back garden is a trip hazard when dark nights come back because of weeds. Humbercare are not a charity. They charge £1500 a month to stay with them and do nothing to help you move on. If you are an alcoholic or a drug addict you will get everything from them, from new appliances to food parcels but if you are someone with no addictions you will get nothing and if you ever request a food parcel you will be asked why you have ran out of money and if you want help budgeting. Humbercare get paid to take in people but the tenants dont see any of it. Theres no insulation at all in the flat so in winter it is minus inside yet if you put a radiator on all the heat escapes from the building. If you request insulation they say it's up to the landlord to do. They charge a service charge but there is no service. They will see you for about 5 minutes once a fortnight and if you try to contact them between appointments they say they dont have time to deal with your issue. They allow people with addictions to get away with everything but if you dont have any addictions and you do one thing wrong then you are blamed for it. Never use this "service". You will be worse off and at the end they will not help you with a move on or to get a job. If you ask for support they will tell you it isnt their job. If you tell them any issues with the property they will take pictures and if you are lucky they might fox it 6 months later. They knowingly allow crime to happen in their properties and will never evict someone with an addiction for breaking their tenancy but if you have no addictions and ever break your tenancy then you will be evicted. If you report anybody for anything illegal then they recieve a warning but they can recieve 20 plus warning before they will think of doing anything. If you complain about this you are told there is a process to follow but if you are a quiet person then the process seems to be forgotten about and you will be held accountable for anything wrong.

Ruined our family and our lives, All they care about is money. Very few repairs to the house. Lived here since 27/1/21 no window at the back just a board, Boiler needed a repair 9 months ago and still no hot water or heating. Walls crumbling, Windows cracked. Bedroom window won't open. Kicking us out with no where to go and now have to re-home 2 family pets one of which we had had for 15 years. Claimed we never paid rent which we had proof of and courts ruled in favour of them making a disabled person homeless and sleeping in a car. Housing officer stole rent money and claimed we never gave any yet had a receipt for it. Supposed to have support with being disabled, Payed for it but never received it.

Worst place I have ever lived, Worst bunch of people I have ever met, I'd rather live in a car then ever even contemplate going back to a humbercare property. Absolutely selfish people. Anyone who reads this bewarned they are going to take you for a mug and if you know better then them they will take a vendetta against you and your family. Selfish heartless pigs.

Absolutely horrible place and people my building was quite until they moved, two drug using criminal in here, been trying since January to get them removed and all humbercare keep saying is there is a progress it will take time.... Cow pat just in it for the money! Like most people....

£241.88 a week rent. Moved here in December. My bedroom wall has been caving in since day one (1/12/2022) Humbercare finally sent maintenance around 7 months later. He had a box of Pollyfilla. For a collapsing wall🥴 The hallway Ceiling was worse and after 5 months complaining- Eventually collapsed on me forcing me to attend hospital to get my eyes flushed as the debrea went into my eyes irritating my Glaucoma. Humbercare are supposed to be 'Supoorted Accomodation' absolute joke of a company.

Issues - Window will not close / lock.
Boiler has been needing a service since 01/12/2021 and still to this day the Boiler does NOT WORK. That is 6/7 months no hot water so I'm having to use the kettle to fill baths. But then I give in and get a freezing cold bath or shower or I'll spend a fortune on electricity. 0 loft insulation. Dangerous stairway which is my only entrence and exit to and from the property. Bathroom floor is literally caving into the below property which is unoccupied. And this is £241 a week RENT.. I get adviced to move. Isn't that easy to just pack and move is jt. My worker is brilliant and she goes above and beyond to dk anything she's able to for me however how can she do things when management / maintenance won't pull their finger out and do stuff? I couldn't care less if you read this and decide to evict me. Do me a favour!

WOW what an amazing support service! Courtney and Hannah found one of your service users looking after my one year old kitten who has been missing since four days. They recognised that something wasn’t right and they went above and beyond to talk the service user into accepting having my kitten taken to a vets to be checked for a chip and to find its rightful owner.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. It would have been easy for them to turn a blind eye but they didn’t and I’ll be forever grateful for that.

For a charity they just don't care about the people they "help" leaving them in properties with black mould, broken main doors (so anyone can walk in to some of their buildings) so great hang outs for the local crack heads! Not so good for anyone that has been trapped in there system. They also placed a minor with alcoholics with there supported living scams! sorry I mean schemes they bleed the poorest people of all of there money and help no one as long as it profits them. There staff even hate working for the company with new jobs in the company coming up every other week. Plan and simply put there con artists!!

UPDATE TO REVIEW:
Just to add to this also been left over 5 years with no hot water and no heating for a year and a half now.
No checks are done on boilers and other yearly checks they have legal responsibility for.
Been left with a boiler that has now switched itself off and have no carbon monoxide detectors at all so could die at any point with this faulty boiler.

So iv being with humbercare on Beverly Road. for 2 year Both house that I have/are so poor.

My first house was to small not even classed as a 3 bedroom property. The 2nd child room had a boiler in that leaked. The fire place had damp and mould coming through. Cooker wouldn't work properly. 3td floor bedroom went into loft. That was a fire safety issue due to not having a door. So humber care moved me to the second house I'm in now. Environmental health was involved.

So the second house. 6 windows don't open at all. They have now being open After a year and 4 months of asking. Heating not worked right since we moved in. so new boiler was add with a new radiator in kitchen has there was never one. This Still does not work right. Conservatory leaks when it rains. (Always). The work men was told to ducktape the cracks by repairers manager of humbercare. She was on loud speaker. Bathroom shower not working right. We don't get hot water, we can't use the bath has this has cracks in due to the shower head falling off the wall as no wall plugs where used to fit this. 2 lots of my floor board have gone through. Up stairs. These have only just being replaced with ply board. I can't used my washing machine or dishwasher because the the waste pipes that the water goes through to out in the drain has fell off the wall plugs so this floods my kitchen, now this has caused damp and mould. Due to this rising damp and mould in the kitchen it's spread to the other cupboards witch it's effecting other items e.g. pots, cutlery, paper work, plus so much more. This is all because of my sink leaking. 4 cupboard door keep falling off and 2 kitchen drawers need replacing. The back garden not even finished off for my children to play in. The patio step move away and lift off because the garden maintenance men did a sloop instead of going to the edge. And instead of going boxing it in. We don't even have a door in the kitchen to my living making down stairs cold. This Is a current 3 bed property but it's class has a 2 bed due to box room being so small it's under 15 and half foot.

Environmental health have being in involved 3 time and still are.
