Just want to start this review by saying I loved the congregation and the atmosphere here. A church actually following Christ's example and welcoming everyone is something I have always believed in and wanted, and I'm happy this exists. The congregation is just full of lovely, loving people. My review should not take away from that, and was previously 5 stars.

I'm changing my review now a couple of months since I last attended due to a conversation I had with Duane and my mother after mass. Amid the ongoing genocide unfolding in the middle-east, in the place where Christ was born, my mother offhandedly mentioned how sad it is that such violence is happening. Pastor Duane responded with a shrug and said "Well, what can you do?". I was taken aback. Duane seems like a fantastic pastor, but that response was a gut punch. Not even a prayer for those suffering? We're witnessing catastrophic levels of violence and suffering, and a pastor couldn't even express sympathy for the situation. This was very saddening and my mother and I left quietly. I hope that Duane has changed his stance since and has heard the Christian call for empathy and compassion once again. "It's been going on so long" is not a suitable excuse when members of your congregation are older than the state itself! I loved this church and hope to one day return, but not whilst that's an attitude held by the pastor. I pray God is with Duane, and I pray for peace.

The service today went extremely by the dedicated guys with very little time to prepare due to the absence of our paster Dwanyne who was taken ill and now in bmth hospital. I and all would like to wish him a very speedy recovery.
