I was there to drop off 2 kittens for rehoming as my queen had a litter of 3 at start of December. The place is a really pleasant environment & the staff are incredibly kind, helpfull & dedicated. Although I regret I'm unnable to keep the kittens myself I feel totaly reasured that Jacksons will find safe & happy homes for them 😻

Jackson’s Place is a very special place to me and a lot of others! I feel this is proven by the regular support from their volunteers and generous donations from their followers. The care and love for the animals by everyone associated with the animal rescue is inspiring, my dog loves visiting the charity shops as he gets a huge fuss! No matter the unfortunate situation that the staff at Jackson’s come across, they always do the best possible thing in their power (This is rarely easy but they never give up!)
Overall a great place full of great people doing amazing things every day!

Morgan and the team are amazing. I was in such a panic finding an injured hedgehog and they calmly talked me through how to bring it (her!) to them and instantly looked after the little hog. Such a relief! I went when they had 48 hedgehogs they were helping. And this was a Sunday afternoon.

Absolutely brilliant care for 2 unwell hedgehogs rescued from our garden. Really know their stuff and were extremely helpful. The photo is of one of the hogs successfully released back into the wild, and eating well!

Hedgehog hospital (I'll take a picture when I'm next there of the front of the building) volunteers always needed but if you can't, there's other opportunities to buy resources that they go through (they have an Amazon wishlist and you can donate through PayPal) visit them on Facebook and Instagram for updates etc. You can also sponsor a cage. This urgent work is carried out by a dedicated team who are well qualified and they are always full of Hedgehogs. I've just bought a hedgehog house from them for when my hog comes home. Let's help these little guys out while we still can!

Collected and brought to the rescue a hedgehog that had been contained and suspected poorly. They were friendly and efficient. Clearly, we can be seen the care they have for all creatures. For me it could be better signed for where to drop off the rescues though staff around in the other buildings were happy to help.

Took a Protective wildlife species, ie Seagull, 2-3 year old, they couldn't look at it because of Avian Flu or something, said they only look after hedgehogs at the moment or something along them lines, so if you have at least a insured bird, forget it, they might as well call themselves Jackson Hedgehog 🦔 Rescue, instead of people wasting their time of trying to help a protective species of wildlife, was a useless visit.

Therapy dogs are a woner in themselves. I was lucky to have a beauty called Bella. She retired un the pandemic 12yrs. Sadly she passed a few weeks ago. The help these animals give is tremendous & love abiding. All people & animals who help others in different ways are godsent
