Transferred to ward 18 from ED over New Year. Hospital so busy but staff helpful and caring. Elderly mum admitted with pneumonia… nothing too much trouble despite staff shortages. Excellent and thorough care. We were kept well informed throughout. All levels of staff were available and helpful. Can’t really fault the ward staff.

My husband is a patient at the Sandra Chapman centre, what wonderful people they are. From the ladies on reception through to the specialist nurses and consultants. They are all top class. They are so kind and reassuring, it is a dark time when your loved one is diagnosed with Cancer and to have such kindness even when they are rushed of their feet is wonderful, plus the ladies that bring round the tea make a rather good cuppa,so that's a plus. Thank you all,We feel blessed to be under such good care.

After my
Mum was taken ill on holiday, she was given days to live. They went above and beyond to look after her while on palliative care. Also they were amazing on ward 9 looking after us after we’d travelled 4.5 hours to be there for 4 days. Such a nice group of people.

Brilliant experiences today in JPUH. TIA clinic, ECG, CT and MRI scans. Everyone everywhere including clinical staff, porters, clerical and M&S shop, was friendly, cheerful and helpful. It was clean and we were all done in 4 hours. Can't praise the staff enough, especially compared with a hospital we visited recently in the northeast!!

Go to norwich hospital instead !!!! If i could give 0 stars i would. I am an 18 year old that has been affected by FND. Now when i went in a&e they couldn’t understand what was wrong with me (thought i had an appendicitis) i stayed in for 2 nights and couldn’t move an inch of my body heart rate 140+ and they saw my dad and boyfriend having to carry me everywhere. I got discharged with nothing! No help, no contacts for physio or occupational therapist or anyone we had to come home still not knowing what was wrong with me with nothing ! I am now 6 months later down the line still unable to walk, stand, sit or use my shoulders. Every appointment i have had booked has either been cancelled or completely pushed aside! I tried calling the outpatients desk to see what was going on with my most recent cancelled appointment and ended up calling 8 times with no response, i just gave up in the end. Its so disgusting the amount of disrespect i have endured from james padgett hospital in just 6 months. I will be calling again on monday to express my feelings and upset too. I AM APPALLED !!!!

My daughter was admitted to the James Paget Hospital, via accident and emergency on 21/10/24. She spent 2days in A & E, majors.
She was then transferred to ward 5. The treatment she received was good and is now back at home.
Yes there was a lot of waiting and hanging around, but they are so busy.
People complain about the NHS , but if you just look at how hard everyone is working, you’d appreciate the nurses and doctors.
Many thanks.
Michele and Sophia Butt.

As we came to this hospital from the Midlands to see a very poorly relative, we were greeted by a smile and helpful lady at the desk and informed us where to go. Speaking to the doctor he explained everything that they were doing and i was pleased with this. After leaving the hospital they rang me to give me updates on my family member twice a day which was a very nice touch. Unfortunately in a few days later of us leaving for home my relative took a turn for the worse and passed away but hospital rang with a lot of sympathy, compassion and professionalism. Also they passed me to a bereavement team which also took care of me in the same way. Really can't complain about there work. Doctors, nurses, well Really all staff should be commended alot more on what they do and did. Thanks again. Only 1 niggle for me but the hospital still gets 5 stars, is the car parks are kinda small so you may have to keep driving around till a space is clear.

Staff and treatment outstanding. Was put at ease immediately. Can't thank them enough. Unfortunately 6 hour wait in A and E but that's not their fault. Follow up doctor led clinic for dressing changes was very efficient and staff lovely.
