Even if you are 100% as I am and need dental care you're better off doing it yourself. Besides having to wait months for appointments if you get referred through Triwest to a civilian dentist the civilian dentist has to do an exam and then forward their findings as to required care. Then a few months later the VA gives you an exam and makes their determination. Then about a month later your local dentist gets the approval or denial. I started this process for some current dental issues last August and here it is September the following year and I've had one procedure completed by my civilian dentist that was approved by the VA a simple cap replacement. Then there's the staff at the clinic who are to busy on their cell phones or having conversations to actually help the vets they work for out. The saddest part of it all is many of the staff were former military. Sorry this is so long I could continue but it like everything else will fall on deaf ears. Good luck Brothers and Sisters.

Dr. Kim in the Dental department is amazing. I had a deep cavity and she treated me at the Dental walk in clinic with care. I am very satisfied. Please commend her upper management. Thank you.

The orthopedic department is consistently late with scheduled appointment times. My last appointment I waited almost 2 hours past my scheduled appointment time. Now I am almost at an hour past my scheduled appointment time with no indication on when I might be seen.

The whole ENTIRE hospital is backwards. I always get the worst service in history and it’s from here! To the CEO you are absolutely not here for the vets and you don’t listen or take any response from the patients. Your Veteran experience is the worst experience! They just twiddle their thumbs non professionals!

This medical center needs to be investigated for patient negligence. The lack of communication in providing continuation of care is concerning. Fellow veterans call the VA Hotline to address issues and send an email to your representative and demand change.
