My friend has moved into a property of jigsaws this week got to doing a general clean which you would of though jigsaw would of done get to the kitchen cupboards and finds cig dimps, pills and needles on the top. Absolutely disgusting

The moment you miss a payment, they bombard you with phone calls and letters to get you to pay. However, they won't do anything to tackle antisocial behaviour, repairs take ages and they aren't even bothered to investigate tenants allegedly occupying their flats illegally. Disgraceful and shameless landlords

i am a tenant in victoria court openshaw the staff at jigsaw homes are a complete waste of space. too many complaints to list but repairs seem be be at the bottom of their priorities . two of the most serious a few weeks ago we had no heating.when i phoned repairs i was politely told it would take 3 to 5 WORKING DAYS before the engineer would be able to attend, i asked if it could be treated as an emergency because the temperature was close to freezing. i was then told to try and wrap up well and try to keep warm. the next complaint was about lighting outside the building 12 days ago it was reported that the lighting around the building had failed again we were informed it would take 3 to 5 WORKING DAYS FOR REPAIRS TO BE COMPLETED.

This company was bad as new charter but now WOW as a woman living in a second floor flat and waking up to men up ladders outside my bedroom window no warning that work would be done one the upstairs of the property not the first time work being done outside my property with no warning from them they also have no idea who is doing the work as these are outside contractors ….

Been bidding for over 3 and a half years now to get a 2 bed ground floor for health reasons as currently in 2 bed 4th floor taken in hospital letters etc to be told I'm not ill enough. Asked how long they said and I quote we have 10 thousand on the list and we also have to give 2500 homes to immigrants first. Makes sense now as to why they are only putting bedsits and 1 bedrooms on all the time I'm truly stunned, stressed and totally bewildered by it all let alone my hips and knees are getting worse every day with all the stairs and I have no choice to go up and down them because I have to work I am truly at the end of my tether.

I wish to express serious concerns regarding the response of Jigsaw Housing to a pressing issue affecting my neighbours, who are their tenants. Following the tornado in December 2023, the fencing around their property was severely damaged. The remaining fence posts are now dangerously leaning, posing significant risks to privacy, security, and health and safety.

Despite repeated emails and requests for action, Jigsaw has been unresponsive and dismissive. They eventually promised repairs within 2-3 weeks, but it's gone beyond three weeks without any progress or updates. Compounding the problem, the language barrier faced by my neighbours—who are not fluent in English—appears to be leading to further neglect of their situation.

Historically, social housing providers have promptly addressed issues impacting the community and surrounding homeowners. Unfortunately, Jigsaw’s lack of urgency and engagement suggests a disregard for these responsibilities. Immediate action is needed to rectify this situation and restore trust in their commitment to tenant and community welfare.
