Excellent after-sales customer care!

I bought an iPhone from John Lewis online and had some questions about using certain functions and security features. So, I popped into the store on Monday, 24th February, around lunchtime.

Ed from the IT and Service department was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and friendly throughout. He answered all my questions thoroughly.

An absolutely brilliant experience from my favourite store — John Lewis! Thank you, Ed and John Lewis!

Usual lovely sandwich and coffee at the JL Place to Eat cafe today but, what was going on with the three lads behind the counter? One lad looked as if he’d been dragged through a hedge and all of them were evidently bored. Coffees took a long time to make as none of them seemed to want to take on the task. The queue of people at 1:15 today were muttering to each other and there was little movement for ages. This is a huge contrast to the usual service where the staff usually can’t do enough for you. Hopefully things will improve and I can review again more positively.

I ordered some cushions on line which colour was horrible and wrong amount sent too with one different one missing( lost will to live on phone to customer services (India I think) so went to store at Branksome today and Phil at customer service kindly helped sort. I didn’t want to go the the till as bit more complicated and would have had queue building up behind me(
Phil was great …kind professional and sorted with ease thank you🙏🏻
I am now hoping to purchase the art on wall in Customer service area as beautiful💫🌟

I wanted to order some curtains which were out of stock online and in store. John Lewis tirelessly tried various stores around the UK but to no avail. But not content with providing that information for me, the ladies in customer services went on to help me further by finding other retailers who did stock what I required since John Lewis was not to be restocked with the item in question . Altogether an absolutely five star service and very appreciative.

Great place to come shopping for things for the home in our first real shopping day out in over a year. Great to see and feel the quality of things. Ended up buying much more than we planned, haha! As usual, the quality of goods and helpfulness of staff us a given here. I would recommend spending time here.

I never leave bad reviews for anywhere but I am quite shocked and partly embarrassed from my experience this afternoon at this store (I actually really like this JL store as well so was a bit of a shame). I went in downstairs to the main till to return 3 handbags that I had purchased online, and that was all fine and smooth (returns accepted quickly and all put through etc). However, after my return I wanted to then look at some Christmas cushions which were near the till area on the other side (had to walk back round from the queue area to see them properly) - whilst looking at the cushions, I then heard the man that had just served me and the other female colleagues that were on the till at that time all gossiping about my return and how much I had spent on handbags and how they couldn’t understand it and it’s something they would never do - I think they had thought that I had left the store but I heard pretty much all of their conversation whilst I was trying to look at the cushions I wanted to see. I felt pretty embarrassed to say the least - please at least double check customers have actually left the store before proceeding to then gossip about them and what they choose to spend their money on 😳😅

Brilliant customer service, could not find item on display, went all out to find it in the store room. Can not fault my visit even at the checkout. Item a present for my elderly Mother, very pleased with her kettle, small enough for her to hold, she can use this with ease. Highly recommend.

I have been visiting this store for about 7 years since moving to the area. It is very inviting, sensibly laid out and always beautifully decorated to reflect the seasons. Christmas is wonderful in store and I would recommend a visit. The JL Partners here are very good, and I have not experienced any problems, even when returning a JL item which had become faulty near to the end of it's guarantee. They are always polite and helpful. This store has a lovely cafe which serves light lunches and delicious cakes etc. It is always a pleasure to visit the John Lewis at Redlands store.
